On Tuesday, Netflix released its weekly US and global charts. The Gentlemen: season 2 captured the top spot among global shows. In the United States, Death of the Pastor's Wife: season 1 led the show rankings.

In The worldwide movie category, the Whisper Man secured the runner-up slot. The top global movie was not specified in the data, but the Whisper Man's placement indicated solid viewership. Ranked below it.

The US movie chart saw those Who Wish Me Dead at number two. The Whisper Man, despite its global success, Did not reach the second spot in the United States. Titles like why Did I Get Married Again?

The week's rankings highlighted differing preferences between global and US audiences. While the Gentlemen: season 2 dominated globally, US viewers favored Death of the Pastor's Wife.

## Analysis

The fact that the Gentlemen: season 2 led the global show chart while a different series topped the US list suggests divergent audience preferences across regions. This could reflect cultural resonance of the crime-drama format internationally versus domestic interest in family-oriented drama.

Instadocs: the Decoy Plane's second place in the US show chart indicates strong appetite for documentary-style programming among American subscribers.

Meanwhile, those Who Wish Me Dead's US placement shows that survival-drama films retain a solid niche.

These patterns Point to a need for Netflix to balance global blockbuster investments with region-specific offerings. However, without further data on viewership numbers or demographic breakdowns, the extent to which these rankings will shape future content decisions remains uncertain.
