Israel held its Legislative election on 27 October as scheduled. The vote delivered a clear victory for Yashar, which emerged as the largest party in the 120-seat Knesset. Likud suffered a decline, falling to between twenty and twenty-four seats. No Coalition of parties succeeded in assembling a parliamentary majority.

The party remained the second-largest bloc in the chamber.

Together secured the third position among the competing lists. Its performance placed it behind Yashar and Likud but ahead of smaller parties. The result solidified its role as a potential kingmaker in future negotiations.

Yisrael Beiteinu captured roughly six to seven percent of the vote. This translated into a modest representation in the Knesset. The party's share remained below the threshold for major influence.

Following the results, Gadi Eizenkot was appointed Prime Minister the new government took shape after a single election cycle. The arrangement proceeded without the need for additional rounds of voting.

Analysis

Yashar's outright win gives the party a parliamentary majority, eliminating the need for a governing Coalition This concentration of power shifts the Legislative agenda away from the fragmented bargaining that previously defined Israeli politics and limits the leverage of opposition blocs.

The loss of seats by Likud reduces the political weight of its leader and curtails the influence of the former governing Coalition With no Coalition achieving a majority, the Knesset is likely to see fewer cross-party agreements, as the ruling party can advance its program unilaterally.

Together's third-place finish and Yisrael Beiteinu's modest vote share keep them as notable but limited actors. While they will not be part of a governing Coalition, their presence may affect parliamentary votes on specific issues, especially if the ruling party seeks broader consensus on contentious legislation.

His government's ability to implement reforms will depend on maintaining internal party cohesion, while the absence of a Coalition may both simplify decision-making and expose the administration to criticism for limited pluralism.
