Linke secured over 20% of the vote and the largest parliamentary bloc, and the Greens earned a mid-teens share.
The Left (Linke) won the Berlin state election on Sunday, securing the largest share of seats in the state parliament. Its vote share exceeded 20 percent, placing it ahead of all other parties. The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) finished second, retaining more votes than the Alternative for Germany (AfD). The Greens fell to fourth place with a vote share measured in the mid-teens.
By surpassing the 20-percent threshold, Linke captured enough mandates to form the leading parliamentary faction. The result gave the party a decisive advantage in coalition talks.
